Attorney Baker is a cum laude graduate of the University of Connecticut, from which he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1985. Attorney Baker subsequently graduated from the Quinnipiac University School of Law (formerly known as the University of Bridgeport School of Law), attaining his Juris Doctor Degree in 1991. He was a member of the Law Review and was one of only two students in his class to have both of his student articles selected for publication in the Law Review. He also served as a member of the Law Review Editorial Board during his final year of law school. Attorney Baker was also the recipient of an American Jurisprudence Award for excellence in Legal Skills.
Attorney Baker has been actively engaged in litigation in the State of Connecticut since 1992. He also has been licensed to practice law in the State of New York since 1992, and in the Mohegan Sun Gaming Disputes Court since 1999. He is also admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.
Attorney Baker is engaged in the general practice of law but concentrates in the area of personal injury defense, foreclosure, and commercial and complex litigation. He has successfully defended and favorably resolved many slip and fall and motor vehicle accident cases, including several cases that were designated complex litigation matters. He has also represented injured persons and achieved many favorable settlements on their behalf.
